Subash Bose Park

Open Parks with recreational facilities for health, enjoyment and well-being provide a sense of public pride. It also serves as a place to conduct games, special cultural events and holiday festivals. Apart from which, parks have proven to improve the quality of air, provide the much needed greenery and open spaces.

Subhash Bose Park, in Kochi, spread over 11.5 acres, offers recreation and green spaces to its residents. Named after the great Indian freedom fighter, Subhash Chandra Bose, this public park on Park Avenue Road, is abundant with flora and fauna with magnificent views of the backwaters dotted with canoes, boats, and ships berthed at the Port and Yachts anchored at the Bolghatty Palace. Geojit Foundation, in co-ordination with The Centre for Heritage, Environment and Development (C-HED), the Research and Development wing of the Kochi Corporation, maintains and manages the park.
