Student Police Cadet Project
SPC Project is a school-based initiative by the Kerala Police and the Department of Education, supported by the Departments of Transport, Forest, Excise and Local Self-Governments. The project, launched in 2010, currently benefits over 52,000 students from about 650 schools. The project teaches students to respect law, practice civic sense and develop humanitarian values. It also enables youth to explore and develop their inner potential in achieving success. Geojit Foundation currently supports 2 schools in Ernakulam District for this noble cause. Every year 88 students complete this course.
