Homes to homeless
The Foundation deems it as one of its responsibilities to provide houses to deserving homeless. In the last three years, the Foundation has helped 14 families to build or renovate their homes. In the aftermath of the Chennai floods of 2015, Geojit Foundation built 10 houses In Kancheepuram District, Tamil Nadu. One house was built for a housewife whose husband fell off a tree and was bedridden and has two teenage daughters. Another house was built for an award winning sports woman. Two houses were renovated and given to two daily wage laborers, one of whom is based in West Bengal.
