Chennai Floods 2015
In December 2015, the city of Chennai and its coastal areas were inundated by torrential rains which left the city submerged in flood waters. The Foundation provided on the spot support by purchasing and providing essential items to the people affected by the floods. Truckloads of essential items like mats, bed sheets, blankets, clothing, drinking water, sanitary napkins, and dry food items were transported by truck from Kochi to Chennai by volunteer employees of Geojit Financial Services Ltd.
