Art and Culture improve the quality of life and boost creativity and imagination, thereby contributing to the well being of individuals and communities. Art and culture, theatre, libraries, museums, all of which bring people together irrespective of age, gender, religion or nationality.
Kerala and Kochi in particular has a diverse, multicultural and secular community consisting of Konkanis, Tamilians, Gujaratis, Bengalis, Marathis, Kannadigas, Anglo Indians hailing from Hindu, Christian, Muslim, Jain, Buddhist religions and a few members from the now nearly extinct Kerala Jew families. With so much diversity, art, culture and cuisine are also varied, but with a thread of unity binding people together.
